Primary sources are usually original material, first-person accounts, case studies, historical artifacts, etc - as opposed to another person writing ABOUT these kinds of materials.  It rather depends on your topic or discipline. If you find journal articles on your topic, the bibliography might cite primary sources. You can make an appointment with one of our subject specialist librarians for more information.
