When looking at a book in our Library Catalog, you should see a few options telling you how you can use the book.

The Library Catalog will let you know if an item is available, as well as additional information such as is it available to checkout. For example, this title is marked as Available and Non-Circulating - that means it can only be used in the Library.

In general, books that are located in our Reference Collection (whose call numbers start with Ref) are non-circulating.
