There are several different types of materials that are currently housed in the Automated Retrieval Sytem (ARS). Most can be checked out but some may need to be viewed in-house. Generally speaking, if a book's location is 'University Library ARS Main Stacks', it can be checked out.

For more information on the University Library's loan policies on different types of material please visit the policies webpage.
