The Library no longer charges for late items -- we just want the materials back. Materials that have not been returned will be billed to your student account through the Bursar's office. The cost of replacing materials can be found on the library website.

Please note that Faculty and Staff are charged late fees for overdue LINK+ and Interlibrary Loan items.

If you are a visiting patron using a non-scu library card to checkout items, late fees are $1 per day. Please consult with the library where you got your card to check the status of your account.

  1. Hypothetically, if I return the book a day after the third late notice email, do I still have to pay the fine or will it be removed from my account?
